Partner and Family Visas

Partner and family visas are one of the most complex areas of immigration law. They are also costly. For example, the Visa Application Charge (VAC) for a primary applicant for a Partner (Residence)(Class BS) is currently $7,715.00. If you decide to do the application yourself because you think you will save money by not having to pay an immigration lawyer, then please think carefully about the risk you are taking. If you make an error and the application is refused, you will not get a refund (refunds are only given in limited circumstances).  The process is complex and lengthy so it is crucial that you seek detailed advice on eligibility and the criteria to be satisfied.

There are a number of pathways to join a partner or family who are Australian citizens, permanent residents or eligible New Zealand citizens We support you throughout the journey, and well after the application is lodged. We understand that families want to be together and the experience of applying and waiting for an outcome can be traumatic, especially when it means that you could be separated from your loved ones for a long time.
